Days 30 and 31...

JAN 30th and 31st 2013

I have been continuing to promote my iGO Shopping Mall all over the 
internet. To safelists, traffic exchanges, blog posts, rss feeds, more articles 
and social sites.

I also found a traffic program today that I think could work to drive free
traffic to iGO Shopping Mall and my other programs like:

Free CPA Coaching,
Web Traffic Mechanic
Global Wealth Force
Chris Farrell Membership
IM Springboard

Everyone knows that Facebook is an absolute MONSTER,
but most people fail to ever convert that into a single dime.

I really feel like I am beginning to get somewhere.

Days 28 and 29...

Today I learned more on Paid traffic (PPC and CPV)
from a traffic webinar.

It still does sound like the way to go, but it is risky.  
Like I said before you can lose money if you are not careful.

Like I said before I think I will end up having a mix of  
free and paid traffic to get my leads.

I still believe free traffic is the best way to start. 

As I said before I will give free traffic a go and if it is not working 
after 30 to 60 days then I will start to get my feet wet with paid traffic.

I still believe Social Media traffic may be the best way to  go. 
It will take time to build but once it does it can turn very viral. 

Facebook is a good example of Social Media traffic.

I have been promoting my iGO Shopping Mall all over the internet
today. To safelists, traffic exchanges, onlywire, rss feeds, articles and 
social sites.

I was working on my federal and state taxes all weekend.

So needless to say I am not a happy camper.

But it is an evil that must be done.

The taxes are done for another year and since I owe
I will not be sending them in till Monday April 15th.

Today was also a great day.

I got my iGO Shopping Mall promotional link today.

I started promoting my link everywhere to facebook, in
emails to everyone I know, to family and even to my wife.

I am going to do my taxes this weekend so I most likely 
won't promote the shopping mall much this weekend but
starting next Monday the 28th I am going to plaster this 
link all over the internet.

Global One is finally underway.

Now I just need Global One to get the Back Office up to 
help us market easier.

I will get together with my wife so we can start buying groceries 
from my mall.

DAY 24.....and Shopping Mall went LIVE!!!

Hip Hip Hooray!

The Global One iGO Shopping Mall went live today!

I have been waiting all month for this to happen.

I went in and tested it out. It is very nice and easy to use.

Global One says they will have our promotion links
available in a few days.

Great step in the right direction.

Got my first look at the Global One compensation plan in writing.

Here is the PDF of the COMP PLAN.

Exciting to see the pay plan in print.

Of course as is stated inside the plan there is more to be
added in the future, but this is a great start.

80% payout, pays every 3 days.

Four major compensation areas:

1) Infinity Commissions
    Infinity Matching Bonuses

2) Global Active Bonus
    Global Active Matching Bonuses

3) Fast Start Bonus
    Fast Start Matching Bonuses

4) Global Shared Bonus
    Global Shared Matching Bonuses

(This by far is the highlight of the whole plan.)
All matching bonuses are paid five generations deep and with 
enough customer sales you could be receiving 20% matching 
bonuses five levels deep. 

To get those matching bonuses you just need any combination
of customer sales during the month to equal $100 which creates
500 points.

There will be Star Leadership bonuses added in the future.

Today I learned more on Paid traffic (PPC and CPV).

resources listed in it (PPC and CPV).

Took a long weekend.

Did not do much work.

Mainly studied some concepts on marketing.

Thought about the direction I want to head.

So much of it rests on what  Global One will 
look like when it is launched. I am referring to 
our back office and how we will be able to market.

I keep reminding myself that everybody started 
somewhere - and that as much as this is a 
cliche - every great journey starts with one small step.

I realize that there are many paths to online success.

I know  that Global One will be my primary focus once it launches.

The rest of these programs will have to be on the backend 
of Global One.

I will work them after I am done with Global One for the day.

...I'm going - to make a full time living online.

At least - I know SOMETHING about making money
online - I know it can be done. I have made money online.

I am not brand new to this, I have been involved for years. 
I have known others who have made a ton of money online - so I know it is very achievable.
I just haven't found that breakthrough yet.

But now, things have to change - I am tired of  barely scraping by and I am done working my  life away for someone else.
I'm taking my business seriously.

I understand that I will need to take my  business to the next level.
I know Global One will be my the answer. 

At least I know I have a very clear vision of where I want to go.

I spent today going over a program called My PIP and 
My PIP Express. I will recommend this to my email list also.

Still waiting for launch of Global One.

 My blog is doing well Internet Network Marketing Review.
I am getting 20 to 30 unique visitors a day that is a good start.

I have 10 people on my email list from my lead capture page or squeeze page: Web Traffic Mechanic

It is a beginning.

Big event today was John, someone I met online asked me if I knew
how to create a web page.

I said yea, I have put up a few in my life online.

He said he had no idea how to do it.

I told him to go online and search for NVU a web editor.
It will help you build your web site and get it online.

I told him it has some great tutorials to teach him
how to do it.

Plus I told him of another great resource that I am still
a member of Chris Farrell Membership it is a great place
for new and experienced marketers to learn their trade.

He said he would check it out.

That was my good deed for day 13...

JAN 12th 2013

Today I bought a new smartphone to help me run my business.

It is a Nokia Lumia 710 with windows 8 layout with the tiles.

I did not know if I would like it but I do, it is just going to 
take some time to get use to.

Spent most of the day playing with my new toy.

However I did join Global Wealth Force today.

This is a program that pays your way into 
multiple companies. I think it will work out well over
the long run.

I am already a member of F5M-MC and Fortune5Minutes
and Cash Club International.

It was only two dollars to enter and oh - WOW! I just got 
an email I already cycled through the first company in the matrix.

That was fast.

Today I realized I may have been barking up the wrong tree.

I was listening to Vick Strizheus today and he was talking 
about paid traffic being the answer to everyone's traffic
problem.

I have always only used free traffic methods.

Vic was talking about how traffic should be fast, scalable
and consistent. Plus there is never any shortage of paid traffic.

I think in the future I may have to try a combination of both.

My free report on free traffic may have to be updated to include
some paid traffic methods in the future.

Which means I will have to update my lead capture page or 
squeeze page also: Web Traffic Mechanic

I put an opt-in form on my blog today.

I ramped up promoting my squeeze page to safelists
today. 

I am starting to see a few more sign ups coming in to my
email list.

I finished off the day going back to IM Springboard 
to learn more about internet marketing.

I tested my market funnel today and found a few problems.

So I fix those issues and began to market my free report to 
get a few subscribers to my email list.

It was another long 11 and 1/2 hour day. 

Don't get me wrong when I am working I am so focused
time just flies. I love what I am doing.

You have to have a passion or else you would never
accomplish what you have to get done.

Your desires and goals are what keep you going forward.

Today was an 11 and 1/2 hour day.

I set up my marketing funnel. 

My lead capture page or squeeze page:
Web Traffic Mechanic

My autoresponder for my email list with 20 emails
promoting affiliate products and my products.

Plus I set up my free report of course entitled
Web Traffic Mechanic. This is a 15 page free report.

I was learning most of the day from IM Springboard.

 I received a product a while back I think I will upgrade and 
market to my email list when I get one going.

It is about marketing videos online. Videos are very hot 
right now. I think it will be the future of the internet.

Hopefully the internet does not end up like TV, although it 
does seem to be heading that way.

I was learning more today from IM Springboard.

In studying I started thinking about Chris Farrell. I remember 
a friend of his who was (and still is) making a lot of money ($300 a week)
through selling photos he has on his digital camera. He uploads
them to an online market place - and from there the public
can download. Very easy.

Chris thought this may make a nice little information product.

So he did a google search on the subject matter - found a few reports
and articles about this subject matter - but nothing all in one
place.

He spent a few hours researching the subject matter. He found
quite a few people upload their pics from their digi camera
to 'stock photography' sites - and then the world can access them.

It's actually really interesting.

He spent hours looking at one site in particular - www.istockphoto.com
Great site - some amazing images. 

You can see how if you are the photographer who took these
images how you could quickly make a nice regular side income.

So he decided to create his own ebook about this.

I think I will market this product to my email list I will be creating also.

Today, I joined IM Springboard.

This program brought me back to affiliate marketing, what I use to do.

I realized I will do affiliate marketing until Global One is ready to go.

Here is the way affiliate marketing works:

Traffic ----->  Squeeze Page -----> Auto Responder ----> Affiliate Product

or another way to look at it:

Traffic ---->  List ----> List for Future Sales ----> Sales

So this brought day 5 to a close...

Spent most of the day getting free advertising set up for when 
Global One launches.

I set up safelists, traffic exchanges, social media sites, bookmarking
sites and forum accounts.

I decided to use my site at JimDerr.com to help me promote 
Global One. I started a WordPress blog on that site and named it
Internet Network Marketing Review.

Then I went out and got some backlinks to the site from some blog
directories and blog comments on others blogs.

Day 4 is over...

Felt I needed some vision today so I sat down and
worked on my 5 year vision plan.

While I was at it I did my 2013 goals.

I also wrote out a couple of letters and called them
"Old Me" and "New Me".

At least I know I have a very clear vision of where
I want to go.

More ideas to make money online are stacking up in my head.

So...I know where I am starting? But Global One is just
not ready for a hard launch yet. 

So time to look at other ideas to get going with for now.

So - I go to this website - Free CPA Coaching. Looks
good. I went through it. It is worthwhile. I will send it 
to my new email list I am going to create.

My wife's always wondering what's wrong with me.
Why don't I just go get a job.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I'm finally ready to start the next leg of my journey....

...I'm going - to make a full time living online.

Call me crazy. Call me brave. It's OK, whatever. I
want to create a full time living online.

I am finally ready to give this all I got.

I'm 52. I live in Minneapolis, MN.

At least - I know SOMETHING about making money
online - I know it can be done. I have made money online.

I am not brand new to this, I have been involved for years. 

I have known others who have made a ton of money online - so
I know it is very achievable.

I just haven't reached that breakthrough yet.

But now, things have to change - I am tired of 
barely scraping by and I am done working my 
life away for someone else.

I'm going to take my business seriously.

I understand that I will need to learn how to take my 
business to the next level. Sounds simple enough...

Right...

I'm going to write in this blog often, to capture the activities
of my en devour.

I have decided a network marketing company called Global One 
will be my #1 Business Platform. I may have to work with
a few other ideas till this company is fully up and running.
